Ethembeni Drop In Center was established in 2008 by Gladys Siyothula. Ethembeni currently provides care for 340 children (aged 2-18 years) with the help of 27 staff. Ethembeni receives government subsidy for 90 children en generates a modest income through a bakery and sewing atelier which are both run out of Gladys’ house. The Drop In Center is set up in a school nearby.
